Soccer Recap: Dixie Comes Up Short

Dixie lost against Snow Canyon back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Flyers fell 3-1 to the Warriors. While losing is never fun, Dixie can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Utah soccer rankings (they are ranked 54th, while Snow Canyon are ranked fourth).

Dixie has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season. As for Snow Canyon, they pushed their record up to 9-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Dixie didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Pine View on the 29th. As for Snow Canyon, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-2 win against Crimson Cliffs on the 23rd.
