Soccer Recap: Centralia's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Centralia made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Yelm, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Everything went the Centralia Tigers' way against the Yelm Tornados on Tuesday as the Centralia Tigers made off with a 3-0 win. This was payback for the Tigers, who suffered an 8-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those four matches. As for Yelm, they dropped their record down to 0-4 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, Centralia will venture away from home to challenge Lindbergh at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Centralia's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Lindbergh's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Yelm, they will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against South Kitsap at 7:00 p.m.
