Volleyball Recap: Seminole Ridge Beats Jupiter for Their Fifth Straight Victory

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Seminole Ridge walked away with it. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Jupiter Warriors on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Hawks sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Seminole Ridge walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-20, 25-20.

Stephen Barnes paced Seminole Ridge's offense, picking up 12 kills. Barnes got some help from Evan Holowecky and his 28 assists. Holowecky was also a major player on defense: he and Addison Corey shared the team lead in blocks, finishing with two each.

Seminole Ridge pushed their record up to 21-6 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Jupiter, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-6.

Coming up, Seminole Ridge will take on Palm Beach Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Jupiter does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
