Volleyball Recap: American Heritage Takes a Loss

American Heritage was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the St. Thomas Aquinas Raiders, falling 3-0. If the Patriots were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Raiders when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-13, 25-11.

American Heritage's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for St. Thomas Aquinas, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-8 record this season.

American Heritage will be playing in front of their home fans against Archbishop McCarthy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for St. Thomas Aquinas, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Western on the 10th.
