Volleyball Recap: Davenport North Comes Up Short

Davenport North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kennedy Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 last Saturday.

Davenport North's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Kennedy, their win bumped their record up to 7-5.

Davenport North wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Anamosa on the 13th. As for Kennedy, they have also already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Center Point-Urbana on the 13th.
