Baseball Recap: Moscow Comes Up Short

Moscow and Skyview squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Moscow had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Hawks by a score of 8-7. The Bears were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Hawks earlier this season, when they won 11-5.

Wyatt Hartig was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Moscow's defeat dropped their record down to 18-11. As for Skyview, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-6-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Hawks beat Moscow by a score of 5-4 later that day.
