Basketball Recap: Atkins Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses at Home

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mayflower, Atkins was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They snuck past the Perryville Mustangs with a 47-42 win. This was a revenge game for the Red Devils: when they faced off against the Mustangs back in December of 2024, they had to take a 57-52 defeat.

Atkins' victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-10. As for Perryville, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 7-10.

Atkins has already played their next match (against Two Rivers), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Perryville will challenge Dover at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
