Quincy had lost four games straight , but after bumping their record up to 7-15 on Friday that streak is in the rearview. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Illini West Chargers, sneaking past 5-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Blue Devils have posted since March 21st.

Izzy Weppler spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on eight hits and racked up six Ks.

At the plate, Ivy Winter and Maggie Neally did most of the damage at the plate: Winter went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base, while Neally went 3-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double. That's the most runs Winter has posted since back in April.
