Softball Recap: Watertown Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Watertown's offense. They lost 13-0 to the Jefferson Cavaliers on Friday. The Arrows have struggled against the Cavaliers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Watertown's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Jefferson, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-2.

Watertown wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 8-1 defeat against Dakota Valley on the 2nd. As for Jefferson, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 13-3 victory against Sturgis Brown on the 3rd.
