Volleyball Recap: Fairfield Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against College Station, Fairfield was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Burkburnett Bulldogs by a score of 2-0.

Fairfield not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Burkburnett to exactly 16 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-16.

Fairfield now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Burkburnett, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4.

Looking ahead, Fairfield will be playing at home against Borger at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Burkburnett, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Jacksboro at 6:00 p.m. on September 2.
