Softball Recap: Prescott Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Prescott got themselves on the board against Lee Williams on Tuesday, but Lee Williams never followed suit. They walked away with a 5-0 win over the Volunteers. Winning may never get old, but the Badgers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Prescott got a great performance from Madison Ballou as she didn't allow a single earned run over six innings pitched.

At the plate, Amilya Zahn was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Those four hits gave her a new career-high.

Prescott kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lee Williams only managed six.

Prescott's record now sits at 12-4. As for Lee Williams, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.

Prescott will have a chance to go back-to-back against Lee Williams: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
