Softball Recap: Ontario Snaps Six-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Ontario fell victim to Norwalk and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They fell just short of the Truckers by a score of 2-0. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Warriors' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Ontario's loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-8. As for Norwalk, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-11 record this season.

Ontario will venture away from home to challenge Lexington at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Minutemen have averaged an impressive 9.2 runs per game this season. Norwalk does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
