Congratulations to this week's top players! We're covering the best performances from Friday's football action (using all statistics entered as of the time of writing). Enjoy!

Connor Davidson Dazzles in Fort Worth Country Day Victory

Starting off the list is Fort Worth Country Day's Connor Davidson, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Davidson rushed for 123 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 127 yards and two touchdowns. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rushing yards.

For the season, Davidson has thrown 19 touchdowns (and and only 2 picks) while averaging 183 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 0.63 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 41.25 rushing yards.

Jace Tello Turns in Season-Best Effort

On Friday, St. Andrew got the W thanks in part to Jace Tello playing the best football he has all season. Tello rushed for 106 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 58 yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an incredible 70 yards.

With the win, St. Andrew's broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-6. Tello and St. Andrew's will take on Fort Worth Country Day at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Big Game from May As St. Andrew's Won 63-27

Thanks in part to Will May, St. Andrew said goodbye to their six-game losing streak. May was unstoppable on Friday, rushing for 129 yards and three touchdowns. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in October of 2023.

On the season, May has run in 8 touchdowns while averaging 64.8 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had two rushing touchdowns.

Ben Ngishu's Big Game Leads Trinity Valley over Cistercian

Trinity Valley found a leader in Ben Ngishu as the team took down Cistercian on Friday. Ngishu was unstoppable, rushing for 98 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries, while also picking up 32 receiving yards.

Cistercian had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Ngishu it was a similar story. Ngishu rushed for 164 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 10.3 yards per carry the last time he and the Hawks duked it out back in September of 2023.

St. Andrew's Losing Streak Is No More Thanks to Charlie Greenberg

Thanks in part to Charlie Greenberg, St. Andrew said goodbye to their six-game losing streak. Greenberg did his part (and then some), throwing for 265 yards and two touchdowns on only 17 passes for the 'W'.

For the year, Greenberg has thrown 12 touchdowns while averaging 140.3 passing yards per game.
