Volleyball Recap: Berlin Takes a Loss

Berlin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Laconia Spartans. The Indians were not able to make up for their defeat to the Spartans from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

While Berlin ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-19.

Berlin's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Laconia, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.

Berlin will welcome Wisconsin Dells at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Laconia, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Campbellsport on the 20th.
