Volleyball Recap: St. Clair Bulldogs vs. Sullivan Eagles
If St. Clair was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Owensville on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bulldogs lost 3-0 to the Sullivan Eagles on Monday. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Kylee Brandt paced St. Clair's offense, picking up eight kills. Brandt got some help from Addy DeClue and her 18 assists. Kaylee Martin controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.
Sullivan's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Andi Giebler, who had 11 digs and one assist. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Todd, who had ten assists and two aces.
St. Clair's defeat dropped their record down to 16-14-1. As for Sullivan, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-9-4 record this season.
