Soccer Recap: Stuarts Draft Comes Up Short

Stuarts Draft lost against Nelson County back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Cougars came up short against the Governors, falling 4-1. Stuarts Draft have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of Ezra Carter, who's now up to seven this season.

Stuarts Draft's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Nelson County, the win keeps they at an undefeated 9-0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Stuarts Draft will take on Buffalo Gap at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Stuarts Draft will be up against Buffalo Gap's rather soft defense (which has allowed 11.22 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Nelson County, they will face off against Appomattox County at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Appomattox County will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Nelson County surely won't give up without a fight.
