The Heritage Leadership Academy Fletchers made easy work of the Wayne Preparatory Academy Generals on Monday and carried off a 17-7 win. The Fletchers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matches by six runs or more this season.

Eli Huston was a standout: he got on base in all five of his plate appearances with five RBI, two runs, and two doubles. He has become a key player for Heritage Leadership Academy: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 1-3-1 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Tyler Hall, who went 2-for-5 with three RBI and one run.

Heritage Leadership Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .605. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Heritage Leadership Academy's victory bumped their record up to 6-3-1. As for Wayne Preparatory Academy, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-9.

Looking ahead, Heritage Leadership Academy will face off against Raleigh HomeSchool at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Fletchers are facing the Hawks at the right time seeing as the Hawks are stuck on a three-game losing streak. Wayne Preparatory Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
