Volleyball Recap: Brunswick Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Brunswick lost against Glynn Academy last Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Pirates fell just short of the Terrors by a score of 2-1. While the Pirates didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Terrors 25-21 in the first set.

Brunswick started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-22, 15-9.

Ashley Adair paced Brunswick's offense, picking up 13 kills. Adair got some help from Kate Small and her 24 assists. Aubrey Rook controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Kara Burandt was the offensive standout of the contest as she had eight digs and two aces.

Brunswick's defeat dropped their record down to 19-7. As for Glynn Academy, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-8.

Brunswick didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Jonesboro on the 13th. As for Glynn Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Camden County on the 13th.
