Basketball Recap: Mena Comes Up Short

Mena was the 47-30 winner over Waldron when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Mena Bearcats took a blow against the Waldron Bulldogs on Friday, falling 66-37. The Bearcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mena's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Waldron, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mena will venture away from home to square off against Dardanelle at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Waldron has already played their next match (against Clarksville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
