Softball Recap: Carbondale Terriers vs. DuQuoin Indians
The scorekeeper got an easy start on Tuesday as neither Carbondale nor DuQuoin made it on the board until the sixth inning. The Terriers came out on top against the Indians by a score of 4-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Terriers also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2025.
The result came thanks to Lauren Lehman's shutout, as she gave up just two hits and racked up 14 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.
