Baseball Game Preview: Bonneville Lakers vs. Box Elder Bees

Bonneville is 0-10 against Box Elder since May of 2021 but things could change on Monday. The Lakers will host the Bees at 3:00 p.m. Neither Bonneville nor Box Elder posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

On Friday, Bonneville came up short against Roy and fell 4-1.

Meanwhile, Box Elder also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Clearfield by a score of 7-2.

Easton Green made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs. Bryson Wight was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Box Elder dropped their record down to 5-17 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road. As for Bonneville, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-14.

Bonneville suffered a grim 15-9 defeat to Box Elder in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. Can the Lakers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
