Softball Recap: Whitley County Takes a Loss

Whitley County lost against South Laurel on Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Colonels lost 11-2 to the Cardinals. The Colonels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Whitley County's loss dropped their record down to 15-21. As for South Laurel, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-4 record this season.

Whitley County will square off against Knox Central at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for South Laurel, they have already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Montgomery County on the 10th.
