Softball Recap: Barlow Wins Going Away Against Clackamas

Barlow never let their opponents score on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Clackamas Cavaliers. Considering the Bruins have won seven contests by more than eight runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Kaylee Pokorny 2025 tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out ten over five innings pitched.

At the plate, Barlow let Katie Jordaine 2026 and Charliann Renner 2025 run wild. Jordaine 2026 went 1-for-3 with one home run and four RBI, while Renner 2025 went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run. Those four RBI gave Jordaine 2026 a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Sydney Trapp 2026, who went 1-for-2 with two runs and one RBI.

With the victory, Barlow broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 12-8. As for Clackamas, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Barlow is set to take on their familiar foe Reynolds at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Clackamas will square off against rival Sandy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
