Baseball Recap: Lee-Scott Academy Takes a Loss

The Lee-Scott Academy Warriors came up short against the Smiths Station Panthers on Friday, falling 12-4.

Barrett Cook made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and fired off two home runs and three RBI while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Allen Owen, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Lee-Scott Academy now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Smiths Station, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-6.

Coming up, Lee-Scott Academy will be playing at home against Bayside Academy at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Smiths Station, they will head out to face off against Russell County at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
