Their rough 65-44 defeat to Lake Lure Classical Academy might stick with them for a while. Community Christian Academy has not had much luck with Lake Lure Classical Academy recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Lake Lure Classical Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Da'Zirus Watkins led the charge by scoring 21 points along with 8 steals and 7 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Watkins has scored at least 25% of Lake Lure Classical Academy's points.
