Carbon extended their winning streak to seven games thanks to a huge performance from Grant Mathis. The Dinos came out on top against the Dugway Mustangs by a score of 2-0 on Friday for which the team can thank Mathis, who had nine assists and four aces. He has been hot recently, having posted three or more aces the last four times he's played.

Carbon's win bumped their record up to 11-5. As for Dugway, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.

Carbon didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against North Sanpete on the 11th.
