The Livingston Wolves will head out to take on the Central Valley Hawks at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Central Valley took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Livingston, who comes in off a win.
Livingston's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. Everything went their way against Grace Davis as they made off with a 10-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Wolves, who have now won seven contests by ten runs or more so far this season.

04/02/25 vs Pacheco | 2 |

The result came thanks to Mariah Blaine's shutout, as she gave up just a hit and racked up seven Ks. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Livingston got a big performance out of Elizabeth Avila, who went 1-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Isabella Zazueta, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4.
Avila wasn't the only one making solid contact: Livingston kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. The Wolves are a perfect 11-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Central Valley's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They came up short against Beyer, falling 9-3.
Central Valley saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Reylena Herrera, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.
Livingston pushed their record up to 14-6 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.4 runs on average over those games. As for Central Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 11-7.
Monday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Livingston has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .450. However, it's not like Central Valley struggles in that department as they've averaged .448. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Livingston was able to grind out a solid victory over Central Valley in their previous meeting back in March, winning 7-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolves since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
