Baseball Recap: Franklin Community Takes a Loss

If Franklin Community was feeling good fresh off their 11-3 takedown of Greenwood on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Grizzly Cubs lost 11-1 to the Center Grove Trojans on Friday. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Grizzly Cubs, who until this match were averaging 3.64 runs allowed.

Franklin Community saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Braeden Burton, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

Franklin Community's defeat dropped their record down to 15-7. As for Center Grove, their victory bumped their record up to 18-4.
