It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Luray had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the William Campbell Generals a 7-0 shutout. The victory was familiar territory for the Bulldogs, who have now won three games in a row.

The team relied heavily on Camden Boyd, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April. Landon Wood was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Luray's record now sits at 12-9. As for William Campbell, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record this season.
