It was a good run, but Virginia Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 68-61 to the Catholic Crusaders. The Patriots were probably out for revenge after losing 56-44 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Virginia Academy's loss dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Catholic, their victory was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Virginia Academy will take on Trinity Episcopal at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Catholic, they will face off against Norfolk Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Norfolk Christian will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Catholic surely won't give up without a fight.
