There's no place like home for North Penn-Liberty, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Cowanesque Valley Indians on Tuesday as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Mountie have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Indians, too.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-16, 25-7.

Kameron Lightner paced North Penn-Liberty's offense, picking up seven kills. Lightner got some help from Madison Smith and her 16 assists. Haley Litzelman controlled things from the service line, finishing with 16 aces.

North Penn-Liberty pushed their record up to 11-9-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Cowanesque Valley, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. North Penn-Liberty is set to square off against their familiar foe Williamson at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Cowanesque Valley will challenge rival Wellsboro at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
