Basketball Recap: Maroa-Forsyth Skates Past Illini Central with Ease

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central, Maroa-Forsyth was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They took their contest with ease, bagging an 80-40 victory over the Illini Central Cougars. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Trojans as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Maroa-Forsyth's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 9-10. As for Illini Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-10 record this season.
