The McConnellsburg Spartans will take on the Southern Fulton Indians at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. McConnellsburg is coming into the match hot, having won their last ten games.
McConnellsburg is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Wednesday as they easily beat Fannett Metal 90-31. The Spartans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 21 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead McConnellsburg to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brayden Ramsey, who dropped a double-double on 31 points and ten assists. Ramsey's afternoon made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Dominic Jefferson, who went 9 of 16 on his way to 20 points in addition to eight boards and six assists.
Meanwhile, Southern Fulton was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 54-49 to Berkeley Springs. While losing is never fun, Southern Fulton can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 539th in Pennsylvania, while Berkeley Springs is ranked 59th in West Virginia).
McConnellsburg will need focus on slowing down Sam Stotler, one of several Southern Fulton players who made an impact when they last played. He posted 17 points and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Trentin Cain, who put up 15 points.
McConnellsburg pushed their record up to 11-1 with the win, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 30.3 points. As for Southern Fulton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: McConnellsburg has been crashing the rebounds this season, having averaged 31.8 boards per game. However, it's not like Southern Fulton struggles in that department as they've been averaging 21.4 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
