Having struggled with seven losses in a row dating back to last season, Trezevant turned things around against Memphis Rise Academy on Wednesday. They came out on top against Memphis Rise Academy by a score of 72-61. The Bears' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Memphis East came up short against Memphis University School on Friday, falling 53-32. The matchup marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Trezevant's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Memphis East, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-2.
