Volleyball Recap: Mt. Whitney Pioneers vs. Fresno Christian Eagles
Mt. Whitney was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Fresno Christian Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Pioneers of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2023.
The final score came out to 25-12, 25-14.
Mt. Whitney's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Fresno Christian, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-11.
Mt. Whitney will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Golden West at 6:30 p.m. As for Fresno Christian, they will take on Kingsburg at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday. Fresno Christian is facing Kingsburg at the right time seeing as Kingsburg is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
