Softball Recap: Bolton Central Gets the Win

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Friday. Bolton Central walked away with a 9-5 victory over Chazy. Bolton Central hasn't had any issues with Chazy recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Bolton Central let Thea Kennedy and Jadynn Egloff run wild. Kennedy went a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI, while Egloff went 2-for-4 with five RBI, one triple, and one run. That's the most hits Kennedy has posted since back in May of 2025. Another player making a difference was Carly Smith, who went 1-for-5 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Bolton Central kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are a perfect 7-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Bolton Central's victory bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Chazy, with the loss, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-5.
