Soccer Recap: Grafton Takes a Loss

Grafton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 12-0 to the Jamestown Eagles. While losing is never fun, Grafton can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 188th, while Jamestown are ranked 30th).

Grafton's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Jamestown, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-3-1 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Grafton will take on Woodside at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Jamestown, they will challenge York at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
