Volleyball Recap: Paramount Takes a Loss

Paramount was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Eastside Lions.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Paramount sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-0.

Paramount's defeat dropped their record down to 3-20. As for Eastside, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-11.

Coming up, Paramount will challenge Bishop Amat at 4:50 p.m. on Tuesday. The Pirates are facing the Lancers at the right time seeing as the Lancers are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Eastside, they will host Palmdale at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Lions will also cruise into their next game with the timing on their side: the Falcons will have lost three straight heading into Monday's matchup.
