Volleyball Recap: Aurora West College Prep Academy Takes a Loss

Aurora West College Prep Academy suffered their biggest defeat since April 22, 2024 on Thursday. They came up short against Denver Waldorf, falling 3-0. The game marked the first time this season in which Aurora West College Prep Academy was not able to get on the board.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-16, 25-21.

Alexis Rivas paced Aurora West College Prep Academy's offense, picking up six kills. Rivas got some help from Erick Uriarte and his 13 assists.

This is the second loss in a row for Aurora West College Prep Academy and nudges their season record down to 3-2. As for Denver Waldorf, their victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Aurora West College Prep Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against DSST: College View on the 21st. As for Denver Waldorf, they will be playing at home against STEM School Highlands Ranch at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
