Softball Recap: Banks Beats Warrenton for Their Third Straight Win

Banks won the last time they faced Warrenton and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Braves walked away with a 6-3 victory over the Warriors. The win was familiar territory for the Braves, who have now won three contests in a row.

Sawyer Peters was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one run and one RBI. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Makayla Prevost, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Banks hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least three batters in nine consecutive matchups.

Banks' record is now 12-7-1. As for Warrenton, the defeat snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 8-10-1 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Banks will face off against Dayton at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Warrenton, they will challenge Rainier at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
