Basketball Recap: Frontier's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Frontier had lost eight straight headed into Saturday's contest, but Zach Garnett didn't let it get to nine. The Frontier Titans blew past the Moorpark Musketeers 70-43 on Saturday thanks in part to Garnett, who dropped a double-double on 31 points and ten boards. He is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down nine or more in the last six games he's played.

Another player making a difference was Dallin Crawford, who made all 6 shots he took to post 16 points. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in assists (four).

Frontier picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 5-10. As for Moorpark, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season.

Frontier will face off against Littlerock at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Moorpark and Fillmore will round out the year against one another at at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. Moorpark is facing Fillmore at the right time seeing as Fillmore is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
