In Saturday's Canine Competition, Basic prevailed. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Centennial Bulldogs on Saturday. This was a revenge game for Basic: when they faced off against Centennial back in August, they had to take a 3-1 defeat.

The victory made it two in a row for Basic and bumps their season record up to 4-6-4. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two matches. As for Centennial, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-5-2 record this season.

Basic didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon on the 30th. As for Centennial, they have also already played their next match, an 8-3 victory against Somerset Sky Pointe on the 30th.
