Baseball Recap: Hialeah Educational Academy Comes Up Short

Hialeah Educational Academy lost against Braddock back in April of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Biggie fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 4-3. The Biggie have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

DEREK MORALES was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he pitched 6.2 innings while giving up three earned runs off only two hits. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two hits any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, Hialeah Educational Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was BRIAN BOLANOS, who went 2-for-4 with one double.

Hialeah Educational Academy's record now sits at 10-12. As for Braddock, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6-1 record this season.

Hialeah Educational Academy will face off against Westminster Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Braddock does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
