Softball Recap: Charlotte Catholic Cougars vs. Fort Mill Yellow Jackets
Charlotte Catholic proved they can win big last Friday (they won by ten) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Fort Mill Yellow Jackets. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Cougars have posted since May 11, 2024.
Rachel Wildman made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits (and not a single walk).
