Baseball Recap: Weiser Takes a Loss

Weiser managed to slip by Baker/Powder Valley the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Wolverines lost 13-6 to the Bulldogs on Friday. The Wolverines were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Weston Black made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Cole Ingle, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs.

Weiser is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9-1. As for Baker/Powder Valley, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-4.

Weiser has already played their next game, an 11-1 loss against Homedale on the 14th. As for Baker/Powder Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 11-5 defeat against Pendleton on the 18th.
