Football Recap: Lake Worth Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Lake Worth's offense. They were outmatched by the Alvarado Indians and fell 63-0. Having soared to a lofty 54 points in the game before, the Bullfrogs' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Lucas Davis threw for 88 yards on ten of 23 attempts. Maurice Hubbard was his top target, picking up 32 receiving yards.

Leading Alvarado to victory were KJ Jenkins and Demarcus Belton. Jenkins threw for 447 yards and seven TDs while picking up 19.4 yards per attempt, while Belton gained 271 total yards and five touchdowns. Belton's longest reception was for an incredible 72 yards. Schyler Dethorne helped Jenkins out on the ground, picking up 87 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Lake Worth's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Alvarado, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.
