Lakeside waltzed into their matchup on Friday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They blew past the Red River Bulldogs 12-2. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 10-9 victory on Friday.

Lakeside's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-13. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.6 runs over those games. As for Red River, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-15-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lakeside will head out to square off against Northwood at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Red River, they will venture away from home to take on Choudrant at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Aggies will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight.
