Baseball Game Preview: Thunderbird Titans vs. Goldwater Bulldogs

The Thunderbird Titans will be playing at home against the Goldwater Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Thunderbird and Deer Valley had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Titans came up short against the Skyhawks on Tuesday, falling 16-1.

Thunderbird saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hunter Donathan, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Goldwater came up short against Thunderbird on Monday and fell 6-1. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Goldwater's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Thunderbird, their loss dropped their record down to 10-8.

Thunderbird was able to grind out a solid win over Goldwater in their previous matchup on Monday, winning 6-1. Will the Titans repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
