Softball Recap: Union Grove's Win Ends Three-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Union Grove came out on top against Waterford on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run second inning. The Broncos took their matchup against the Wolverines 6-2. That's more bragging rights for the Broncos, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Ciara Hage spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on five hits and racked up eight Ks.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Emma Santarelli, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double. Linzy Madrigal also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
