Basketball Game Preview: Proviso West Panthers vs. Warren Township Blue Devils

The Proviso West Panthers and the Warren Township Blue Devils will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. Proviso West knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Warren Township likes a good challenge.

Proviso West saw some tournament action on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 67-65 victory over Guilford.

Meanwhile, Warren Township entered their tilt with Whitney Young on Thursday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They wrapped up 2024 with a 70-54 win over the Dolphins.

Proviso West now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Warren Township, their victory bumped their record up to 8-2.
